Default Few Durango towing questions

Hey,
New to the forum here... I have been d***ing around the net trying to figure out what I can do. My wife and i have decided to get a travel trailer and use the Durango to pull it (we have a 2nd Gen with the 5.7 and the towing package).
I would like to know what I can comfortably and safely tow without having to do any modifications. I have read that we can do a 20 foot travel trailer under 5k lbs. How large and heavy can i go before i start running to issues that make the larger size not worth it.

Thanks alot for the help.

-Aaron

According to Allpar.com Specs ona 04 5.7 say 8900lb towing capacity.I personally have a 23' TT that weighs (with full water tank) 6100lbs. No problem towing. Besides the electric brakes I had no additional items at the time.

3-4 inches I think it is too much. You should looking to air lift for the rear. I have it instaleld on mine. On myD' in the rear when hooked the trailerit squating about 1.75" so the headlight point up a bit. I have 860 lbs tongue weight.

I have 2 load leveling bars on my hitch which lets me only get about 1/2" to 1" of drop in my tongue.
