Hey, I want to remove everything in my car that has been painted white. The radio trim/bezel, air vents, trim around the gauges and door handles. Can anyone help me with instructions on how to remove these? Also, not sure what to use to re-paint them...I was thinking spray paint and maybe a coat of spray on laquer to protect it??

Here's a pic:

What exactly are you trying to remove, since some of the stuff is already white. As far as spray paint High temp paint is the way to go it's durable, it's shiny, and it's flexible for vinyl in our cars.

To be honest it's far far easier to go get parts at the junkyard and start fresh ... It's very hard to strip the paint without damage

The pieces you're wanting to get off are pretty easy actually, I just finished painting all those pieces in my own vehicle!

For the vents in the center, just carefully pry off the bezel around them with a Flat Screwdriver...

The shroud behind the door latch should just have a single screw in it right behind the handle...

To get out the Speedometer bezel, there's 2 screws that are in the top, other than that, lower ur steering wheel all the way
down and then it should just come right out.

For the vents in the doors, those are a little more involved...you've got to remove the whole door panel and go at it from the back,
it's pretty simple, just time consuming...

The bezel around the radio should just pull out, you might have to take out your stereo first though...

Hope that helps you some what!  Good luck!  And the high temp paint recommended by PappiDread6 would be an awesome choice!
