i had a 95 dodge ram 2500 slt cummins turbo. the door seals leaked, brakes pullled to one side. the roof leaked, lost oil oressure on top side of motor, cracked an ear in the oil oump, the fuel shut off solonoid went bad, cracked and ear in the injector pump, the dash fell apart, seat pulled apart, starter went bad, return springs on the throttle broke twice, the bearings went bad and ruined the kingpins, the motor would flutter and miss over 2000 rpms not to mention puff blue smoke, and needless to say it was so weak. i couldnt pull a empty tagalong trailer app. 20ft long. i could even get out of my own way.oh i almost forgot , i would go though tires about every 25k, i wouldnt know anything else about the truck because i harldy got to drive it because it was in the shop so much. and when i sold it the guy who bought it had to put another 3 grand into it so it would get running like it should.

I say this to wowen all the time...looks like you could stand to hear it too.....there is more to owning a car/truck then filling the gas tank when its gets empty.
Now tell me...why exactly are you here?? You own a ford..and all of your posts have been badmouthing Rams. If I didnt know any better I would say you were looking to cause problems here.
Just keep in mind...under each of your posts there is a big 'ol DELETE button that Dodgegirl or myself can use at any time. Please, dont make us use it. I would appretiate (sp) your opinions here as far as letting people know (that like all other makes, Ford included) there are some lemons theat seap out of the DX factories.
An outsiders opinion is always welcome here...as long as it is civilazed and in good taste.
With that said...WELCOME to DodgeForums!!!

He is just trying to start stuff with people that can go to where he is and put him and the Ferd crap in their places.
Just let him be, if he wants to act like the rest of Fords customers let him. Just sit back and enjoy the laugh!

actually my dodge was well taken care of. oil was shell rotella 15w40 with wix filter changed every 5000, fuel filter every 15,000, the tranny every 50,000 and the rear ends every 40,000. truck was super clean and never rode hard it ran great until 100,000 miles then it just all came at once. and to the comment about the fix or repair daily forums they dont have and because you dont have that problem. i will admit every make has their lemons and i probally had one but my dad has a dodge with a cummins and its a bit weak but funs great with no problems but when it hits a hill you can forget getting over 40mph and its a 24v.

I have an '03 Ram 1500 SLT. It's a regular cab, short bed, and 2x4. It's got the 4.7L V-8 in it - pretty quick but it's no HEMI or Lightning. It is silver with the 17" rims and tan interior. The truck is bone stock. My dad has an '03 Ram 1500 SLT Sport. It also is regular cab, short bed, and 2x4, but hes got the HEMI and 20" rims. His truck is gunmetal with black interior. The HEMI is pretty much stock except for dual 4" chrome exhaust tips and a chrome Dodge hitch plug. The exhaust system put it from 345HP to 360HP. You can hear the thing from a mile away it's really neat. Personally I think the Sport package looks better becuase of the body-colored bumpers and grille. We are interested in sending the HEMI to Performance West Group and having it turned into a Rumble Bee, but we havn't heard how much that will cost yet. We are getting rid of my Ram and getting the SRT-10 in January. Hey bluemoose89, I had problems with my Ram too but not nearly as bad. I was on my way home from a friend's and the engine temp went above the red line and it started steaming. I stopped to check it and I couldn't see anything wrong. When I started it up it clanked and sounded almost like a diesel, I made it about 2 miles further and it slipped out of gear so it was acting like it was in neutral when it was still in drive. The the power went out and the engine shut off. I managed to get it in a parking lot about a mile from my house and got it started-this time worse sounding. I got 2 streets from my house and it completely died. This time when I checked under the hood the coolant had splattered out all over the place. It ended up in the shop for 2 weeks. The same thing happened to my neighbor's Durango twice. vHiEpMeIr37962.1608101852
