thats usally what i would do before a show, a good quick detail while at the show doesnt hurt at all either, if the engine looks really clean and nice leave the hood open to show that off, other than that idk and im sure bad venge will have some input on this if he sees it in time

1) Park car straighten wheels, pop open hood and trunk, remove"dirty" floor mats ( 2 sets)
2) Clean the wheels, I use the quick wipes, followed by detailer/wax, Tire shine
3)Wipe down nose of car to remove bugs ect quick wipes then detailer, Then wipe top of car down to beltline with the quick detailer, below the beltline might require more cleaning
4)Clean outside windows
5)wipedown interior with protectant
6) Clean interior windows

This looked like a nice place to share.  We still have a little more to go, but it looks great right now.  In-laws own a body shop and hubby paints cars, so there is a lot more we are going to add, but it's a really great car for a 16 year old.

Bad Venge, any suggestions?

Ang :)

Sand the headlights and foglights to get them back to shiney ...
I'd probably paint the mirrors and INSIDE the headlights and the brake calipers to match too

There are a ton of things you can do. You should already know the basics. Clean you car is number one [my expertise is in automotive phototography but there are things that should translate to car shows] If you have room be creative, place you car in "the pose" [turn your car so it's best angle is what people see first] turn the tires in to show off the wheels. I also jack the car up and rotate the wheels so the spoke pattern matches the other wheels pattern [ easy to do, place the valve stems at the top so the valve stem is less visible and it assures each wheel is in the smae palce] the other big thing is lighting. Try diferent accent lights to help bring out that visual perfection.
