I think i seen in the manual that you do it every 3,000 or 6,000. I drive highway to work about 5 miles or so and i dont drive all that much. maybe driving around town and work is under 1,000 miles a month. When does everybody get theirs done?

Depends on what kind of oil you have. If you are running regular motor oil it would be in your best interest to change the oil/filter every 3000 if you care about your truck. If you are running sythetic u can change it every 6,000 to 12,000 depending on the kind. Royal Purple is rated at 6,000 i think and AMSoil is "said" to be rated at 12,000. But i reccommend putting RP in it, and so do alot of other people on this site.

I changethe oil in my Ramevery 3K. My new Speed3 specifies 7,500 (on a turbo!!). That will be ignored. Will probably change it at 1k, then at 5K and 10K. Then I'll switch to synthetic in the Mazda and still change it every 5K.
