Im trying to remove my windshield wiper arm but i cant figure out how to do it. There is a screw with a nut on it at the very end attached to the car. I unscrew the nut and my wiper arm wont pull off. Is it attached anywhere else? or do I have to do more to get it off?

Does anyone know how to remove this wiper arm? If it helps its a 1995 dodge avenger ES V6.

Remove the nut , then spray with penetrating oil ect ... The arm cast and the steel "rod" seem to oxidize badly as they are dissimilar metals , rock it back and forth ... Andif all else fails I had to use a gear piller to grap under the arm and pry it off that way

okay so i removed the wiper nut and sprayed WD-40 on the screw and all around. left it for a little, wiped around the screw with a cloth and resprayed WD-40. And then i tried pulling it off but it wont budge.

Is there another nut i gotta unscrew or something???

I did the same thing today, took off both arms to paint them. I also went to the junk yard to get a new washer thingy that goes right under the arm just the driver side though. But yea the other poster was right you have to take off the black cover then unscrew the nut and spray some lube not only on the inside were the nut goes but around the joint of the arm were the arm meets the other thingy. Let it sit for a while and then wiggle back and forth, it was hard for me to but after letting the lube sit they came off. Only one bolt to take off dude. Godd Luck
