I have a 05 srt-4 w/stg2 and toys, have hks bov, hard pipe, full size intercooler, 3" down pipe and mopar cat back system, ?is when I turn up the boost controler, 2 or 3 I get a bad missfire, I have wathched the boost with the factory scan tool it is showing over 40psi,I know that the computer was killing the injectors and coused the missfire, the first time this happend I found the wast gate to be at fault, and now the problem is back agine, Has any one eles had this problem?

40? yea ok, the turbo isn't capable of pushing that much.

turn your boost down and stop messing with your car, you obviously have no idea what you're doing. sorry to be harsh but really.....

I work for a dodge dealership in Turlock CA, have a tech for 12 years, and USING the dealer scan tools you can see the boost, not watching the gauge, this is my first turbo car, and no other techs at the dealership work on them, so I no whats going on, just asking if this has happend to anyone eles, this happens using the factory turbo toys boost controler set on 2 or 3

i have a aem ems, i see and control a hell of a lot more info than your scan tool. i know exactly what's onyour tool, i saw it on my gauge when i had a scan gauge in the car. and i've seen my car on a drb tool as well.my turbo can't even hit 40psi, then stock one sure as hell isn't. it's not happening to anyone else because it's impossible, plain as that. if your turbo really was hitting 40psi you would have blown the motor a long time ago.

your scan tool is definately messed up or sumthing...like everybody else has said...no turbos hit that high....especially the stock turbo...i think the twin turbo setup can hit like 32 psi max...and thats TWO turbos...

just lower your boost and find another way to read your boost...hope you have a air/fuel ratio gauge

On DAB 2 40psi is fine, but on DAB 3 you should be hitting at least 60psi. Sounds like your muffler bearing is shot. There is a TSB on it, have your buddies at the shop look it up....lmao
