Another stalled car, felt like it lost power on one tromp this morning then 5 minutes later just died. Turns over but won’t start. Hear fuel pump pumping but no smell of gas. Took off intake sprayed starting fluid but no pop. Ran ODBII test and no codes. Called dealer and of course they won’t help unless I bring it in.
So if anyone has some suggestions or has had this happen and got it fixed and would be willing to share their knowledge it would be greatly appreciated in getting back on the road.

Just ran spark test, we have spark. Checked fuel pressure and we have pressure.

Had similar problem: driving on the hwy, lose power and 2 -3 min later car died on the side of the road. Tow it to my mechanic; checked everything. No codes, everything functional: still, the car wouldn't start... Changed crank, cam and MAP sensors, distributor cap, wires, sparks (and gaskets); after each part change, the car will work for couple days and then first time when taken to hwy, die with same symptoms. When working the car will - after getting warmed up - idle high (1200 rpm) most of the time. My mechanic took it to dealer who put it on computer and found nothing - or at least that's what they said. Changed another 2 gaskets - on the air flow (they were not very specific which ones and/or why) and the car start working again. After 2-3 weeks it is still working (driving in the city) but I am still afraid to take it to the hwy (speed over 100 km/h)... So, to summarize: I do not know if it is fixed and worst: I do not know what was the problem.
