yea bro post some pics. well would the loss of pressure be compensated for if instead of turndowns went with a cherry bomb and a new dual out section from the cherry on back? or is it just due to the muffler. I figured this may happen but i'm not too worried about it. I'm just in the looking phase but the cherrybomb is definately the way to go.

Any time you increase efficiency in your intake/exhaust you lose backpressure. The benefit of the increased flow is that you get better fuel economy, more mid/high rpm torque and more HP throughout the whole rpm range. The negative is that your low rpm torque (like under 2000 rpm) is really a result of exhaust backpressure, so you'll lose a bit of that. That's why it was important for me to leave the cats on when I put my headers in, to keep a little of that backpressure. Of course, if I ever get the cam & SCT done, I'll have more torque than anyone short of a CTD owner...

I got to chime in on this. If you are looking for loud clear the sidewalk sound, then get the Cherrybomb Extreme muffler. The Extreme is the loudest muffler out. They were designed for racing and off road use. Warning, They are loud as hell inside the truck as well.

I have an Aero at3030 on my hemi, and it is quite loud. It sounds better than any hemi I have heard as well. I highley suggest looking into aero turbine if you are doing your exhaust.
