Default New Vid

Well the car does 15.03, with 90 extra pounds (passenger seat, drivers airbag, an extra radiator since i put on a C&R, and 3/4 tank gas)

this was a handicapped run, car has bald old tires, and it was on an old road that had been tar'd and then pebbled over, so no traction, and the tranny shift forks seem worn out, cause even with the boogers, theres still a lot of play

car weighed 2100 pounds with all that in it, has no ac/ps, Unorthodox racing udp that deletes the ac/ps, pacesetter header, MPx 60mm tb, tb matched intake mani, glasspack exhaust, custom cai, mm inserts, semi-solid bobble strut, booger bushings, bald 3 year+ old tires

soon hopefully cam off a 95', polished and port matched head (nothing too crazy, ive had good luck porting my friends honda back in the day, and my motocross bike, just taking out the casting flash and making it match the mani/header, im going to have AMM do my final motor), and soon a mopar computer, new tires, quaife, aluminum flywheel

im gonna try 2 ways, if this doesnt work ill post the direct link

if your talking about where the cable ends connect to the shift arms on the outside of the tranny, theres not noticable play when its cold, it moves a little bit without shifting, but no more then a millimeter, however, the feel at the stick loosens up as the tranny warms up from driving

with the stock stick installed, theres about 1/8"-3-16" of play cold, and warmed up theres about 1/4"-5/16" of play

I think he was talking about the fork...

Just take the dust shield off disconnect the cable and try to wiggle the fork...

it may be a streached clutch cable in witch case i have a easy solution that cost like 5 cents if that...

Damn it cant find the pic give me like 30 mins...

ok here it is... my Zip tie trick...

1.) remove clutch cable from clutch fork.
2.) put large size zip tie on collor of clutch cable. the part that is about a half inch long that acually slides into the transmission.
3.) Re-install clutch cable...

walla new clutch cable... this will take out any slack you have in the clutch cable...as long as its not streached here to the moon...
