So it's been almost 2 years since I got this truck. Today went to get it appraised. And I was shocked on what it's worth. $10000. Not even 2 years old yet, just hit 16000 km's on it and it's only worth that much. Paid $40000 for this damn thing. That is horrible. I mean, my SX R/T I paid $25000 for it. Had it for 3 years, 21000 km's on it and got $13500 for it. Maybe cause I had so many problems with this damn thing. I don't know. but still, I still owe $29000 on this thing and worth $10000. Oh man, I might as well just got drive it off cliff or something cause thats just retarded. And I take care of my things. The thing looks brand new still.

I'm not sure where you had it appraised, but a quick check on Kelly Blue Book showed about $14,000 without knowing your options and such. Many insurance comapnies and dealers use KBB for values, so you may want to check that out.
Dealerships use an appraisal thing called blackbook, it is more based on what a dealer would expect to get at auction for a vehicle. All in all Dodge vehicles don't tend to hold their values very well. Btw, how do you have an ST that you paid 40k for? I paid 16,000 for mine and I owe just a tad over 14k for it now.
Dodge trucks are notorious for poor resale value. It has less to do with the actual truck than what someone is willing to pay for it. A used vehicle dealer here told me to use nada.com for resale prices.
When I was going to trade my 2002 in formy 2005, they offered me $7,000 when the wholesale KBB was $17,000.
