Stage 2....what other things would I need?

Been reading a little bit about the diffrent hop up parts and when I get SRT I think the Stage 2 kit w/toys would be great for me.

My question is what other mods would I need with the stage 2? I am guessing exhaulst. Turbo back would prally be the best. BUt anything else? Just trying to keep my searching going

K&N drop in filter, intercooler, and suspension mods and you're ready to rock!

what benifits does a full front mount intercooler have on a stock turbo?

Hardly any... Intercooler would be the last thing I would do for a stock turbo. You don't need any extra mods to run the S2 kit. Supporting mods are really going to depend on what you want out of the car. S2 loves exhaust.

s2 also loves to be tuned, it's pig rich.

If you want consistant performance out of your S2, I would recommend an aftermarket IC. ETS sells some really good direct fits (you get to keep your crashbar)

an ic is way down on the list of stuff to buy for someone who's mostly stock

I guess you're right if he doesn't plan on taking it to a track of any sorts...

track or not, a fmic is not something that should be priority for a basically stock car. it just doesn't give much benefits, especially compared to other modifications that he could get.

I guess it's a matter of opinion. I have S2 and a full exhaust (amongst other things) and you wouldn't catch me rockin a stock fmic. Heat soak FTL!
