i have a 03 2wd that i put a body lift on, the lift went on fine but when i pulled out of the drive way and started turning i could only turn to the right so far and i could hear somethin like either wrapping around and preventing me from turning all the way or somethin, but i ended up turning to far and somethin snapped and the horn honked one time and then the air bag light came on, but i cant figure out wut broke, i pulled the air bag center part out off the steering wheel and everything was still connected so im clueless, are their wires that run the whole length of the steering shaft or wut?

Something must have got crossed up when you installed the steering shaft extension? There are no external wires that I know of. I just removed a 3" body lift on my '97 2WD, and there were no external wires on the steering shaft.
