Side Exhaust Question - 5/11/2008 6:55:56 PM    Erikwutaguy   Posts: 2 Joined: 5/2/2008 Status: offline I have a 1996 Dodge Ram 1500 5.2 and I already have an aftermarket exhaust, im not sure of the make. But I want to upgrade it to a system where the pipes come out right before the rear tire, on the side of the truck. Does anyone know of a system like this? RE: Side Exhaust Question - 5/11/2008 8:13:20 PM    Zeppelinrocks   Posts: 294 Joined: 1/24/2006 Status: offline Do what padodgeram said, just take the picture to any local shop and they will be able to do it for you.  I have a flowmaster 40 serries coming out the rear and i took it to a shop and they told me it will be around 100 bucks to redo the piping and put new tips the way the picture shows. RE: Side Exhaust Question - 5/12/2008 8:01:11 PM    hometheaterman Posts: 2586 Joined: 1/15/2005 Status: online I really like that exhaust and have thought several times about chaning mine to a design like that but I've heard they still get dirty fairly easily so maybe I'd be better off with it straight out the back if I do anything. I don't like it behind each rear tire like I have now as it gets super dirty super fast.
