RE: squeeking - 5/11/2008 3:26:58 PM    ron45640   Posts: 8 Joined: 5/9/2008 Status: offline My 2004 did the same thing I replaced both lower ball joints make sure you rent the ball joint press from advance auto parts make life much easier. Took about 45 minutes each side. You can jack up one side at a time and get the tire off the ground and have someone put a pry bar under the tire and lift you can look under the truck and see the movement if any in the ball joint if it moves it is bad. Although this is probably a temporary fix it at least gets rid of the squeaky bed noise every time I go over a speed bump.  (in reply to ron45640) Post #: 17
