well folks, today was the day for the nitous dyno runs. quite impressive. only thing was i forgot to bring my camera to take pics and video. and as soon as i get my scanner up and running i will be able to post my sht.

how does 296 at the wheels and 387 ft lbs of torque grab ya.

we made a total of 11 different runs using the three stages of jets that came with the kit. nitrous is kinda expemsive, it was 74.20 to fill the bottle. so i wont be using it on a regular basis, but mostly at the track. and yes for the money i spent on the kit plus install, it is worth every penny. i should be able to knock at least a second off of my 1/4 mile time. hope to be in the low 13 second range. as soon as the weather is nice out we will be going to the track. gonna rain all weekend in ct. i may even change the name of the truck to madness instead of superdak.

theres still more to come with my truck, next mod will probably be a supercharger, wanna run at least 12-15 pounds of boost. some of the diesel guys are running 20 pounds of boost getting over 800 horsepower. i know marty at krc performance has a kit for our trucks but i wanna go bigger. gonna take truck off the road this winter and start crunching numbers for the build. gonna stick with the 4.7 power plant. might even go kenne bell. only time will tell. but looking forward to the track. and when it is all said and done. i hope to see my truck on the pages of any type of magazine.

superdak- have you done anything to the tranny to help with the added power? it would seem like an extra 100 horse or so could damage it...
