They do look like nice tires. I always prefer tires with OWL

Yeah man your tires look really good...btw not to hi-jack your thread, but I've always seen in in your signature that your wheels were painted, and this is the first time I've seen them, how did you do it? Like what did you use cause if I can do that it'd save me so money in stead of buying rims...lol

They are 255-70 R16's

But the tread is deep,  so they are a little taller than that...

For the wheel paint (which I need to re-do now) I went to auto zone and got some of the duplicolor wheel paint.  3 coats of color 2 coats of clear.

I am going to re-do them in a few weeks...  need to decide on how/what/when though.

Oh yeah,  and they ran me 108 a tire,  but since I paid cash I got a 5% discount.

Not bad...  the shop did them for 438 and some change, and checked the alignment to make sure everything was still where it should be.

After driving to work and around for work...  they ride a lot nicer than stock g/y's...

Daytons are good tires, I had a set on my 1990 LeBaron and they rode really nice.  Given they were car tires but they held up through Iowa weather.

I think I might be buying a set of Dayton Timberline A/T II's here this summer.  I need some soon, looked at the tires on my truck and they have some nice scuffs in the tread which must have been created from the hard impact oh hitting the car, it's like small chunks got scraped away.  They aren't too bad but I am also tired of them pulling to the right on me.

I haven't been able to find much info on the Dayton A/Ts as far as consumer reviews go but what little I have found has been all good.

I plan on working a good chunk of overtime this summer to finance some of my own mods.  I wasn't able to get the power locks and security system installed due to my recent accident so that is pushed back for a bit, plus I am planning on getting a roll pan and painting the front bumper still.  I also want to do a sound system, but I really don't know how to wire all of that stuff up and I think getting it installed is expensive also.

well,  the tires will run you around 100 a tire (more if you dont know the tire guy)

As far as audio install goes...  I will never pay anyone to install my stuff,  but thats probably because I used to install audio/security to pay my bills.  ;)
