I just bought a 99 Avenger. Its the second one ive owned. I did have a 95. I have a question about the engine in my avenger. Ive seen "Manufactured by Mitsubishi of America"stickers all over this car, like on the door jams, inside the trunk lid, and one under the hood. These werent on my 95 avenger. I was wondering if there is a mitsubishi engine in the 99 avengers.

The Avenger was built by mitsubishi. I'm not a !00% sure on the fact that the 4-cylinder was a Chrysler or Mitsu engine. However, I know for a fact, if you have the 2.5L V6 in your Avenger, that IS a Mitsubishi engine, but both cars should have had the same stickers. I had a 4-Cyl Avenger way back in 97, at it had Mitsu stickers all over it.
