I was just reading through the forum to see if i could find my questions already asked..and i found yours...i have a 95 dodge neon, we bought it used a year ago or so and i dont know exactly what upgrades have been done to it. After a few minutes checking the car i looked under the engine on the belt side and water was just running out of it. I havent been able to check to see the damage cause i dont have any tools really anymore and im not even sure where to start to get the cover off. I did over heat the car a couple of times during the winter cause since we went used we didnt know that there wasnt coolent just water in it. So it all froze and would take like an hour or so to break up. So since that happend im thinking maybe the water pump, but what else could it be? I called a shop to get the water pump fixed but they told me that it would cost like 500 dollars to get it fixed. I thought it seemed a little high for just a water pump.
