Here's the story. I've been getting misfires. Acording to my code reader it's all cylinders in a random order. (Error codes 300-309)

When I climb a hills on the highway, the symptoms are worse.
I've changed the cap , rotor, coil and condenser inside the distributor. It's runs a little better but I still get the missing. What should I try next? Thanks.

Wires? Plugs? Check for cracked head? Checked cat? Those are usually what I hear people mostly having missfires from although the all cylinders doing it is weird.

Like I said, it's all cylinders; in a random order. For example, I'm getting error Codes 300 308 301 304 etc. Plugs are in great shape. As far as the O2 sensor, that was recently changed too. Besides, I'm not getting an O2 snsor error code.

It all started a few months ago when I started the truck up and it stared misfiring.

When Im driving up a hill on the highway, the truck vibrates badly; if I don't give it enough gas. The check engine light blinks too.

Speaking from experience, mine ended up being a clogged CAT.  I initially had a #5 cylinder missfire issue, that turned out to be a bent exhaust valve.

After fixing that, I noticed the random missfires, and lack of power when pulling, etc.  A quick trick is to unplug the front O2 sensor to see if it helps (other than being kinda loud for the test period).

Get a high-flow CAT or gut the old one (or remove it completely if you can)..  might be a cheap fix!

X2 on the cat.  Go to a muffler shop and have them pressure test it.

Thanks for the replies. This weekend I'll disconnect the O2 Sensor and see if that helps.  Any other things to look for?

Did you replace the ignition coil? if so, with what brand of coil?  There's been a few guys with Accel coil problems.
