clutch break-in!! - 5/5/2008 5:15:09 PM    wHipPrOper3   Posts: 40 Joined: 1/14/2008 Status: offline alright, i really need your help on this one guys...i got a new clutch put in on saturday and it runs great and everything but the only thing is 1st gear engagement. i can't hold it at the clutch point for shit, as soon as i come off and try to give it a little gas it is ready to cut off..is this normal since it's new or what? this has had me in small situations such as on a hill not being able to hold the clutch there. RE: clutch break-in!! - 5/6/2008 5:33:07 AM    wHipPrOper3   Posts: 40 Joined: 1/14/2008 Status: offline alright, i have a better explanation now..the clutch/friction point is too high and im told from my mechanic who did it might be the slave cyclinder. he isn't totally familiar with dodge but he did put in the clutch perfectly..the only thing is figuring out if we need to put in a new slave cyclinder or how to bleed/readjust the old one.
