I Just Bought My 2000 Neon SE for 500 bucks with 116000 on the clock so im not complaining ive been driving it and nothing wrong and i was looking into an exhuast system im not looking for something to be extreamly loud considering cops around her are pricks about it.. I was just looking for an exhaust system where when i get on it a little it has a deep sound nothing ricey along with not being to pricey. If anyone has any idea or suggestions feel free to post them.
Thanks

Shawn.

magnaflow or flowmaster muffler, keep same diameter pipe, and get a tip. most of the price comes from the shop welding it together. thats my choice for a cheap, deep tone exhaust. if you do a full exhaust from headers back, your gonna pay more than what you paid for the car lmfao.

haha thanks yea 500 bucks but it came with a sweet oil leak out the tranny (rear main seal) but yea i can do the the exhaust myself i weld and so just go with a magnaflow or a flowmaster muffle an cut the old one and weld the new one on... how much louder will it be if i add a high flow cat to it?

how much u wanna spend?
I'm thinkin if u only spent 500 on the car, maybe yer not gonna go for a big name brand (tanslation:expensive)

Here's mine I got off e-bay for $150... then got a local auto repair shop to put it on for 40 bucks

Is not very loud, only when you really get on the throttle

I was just on Advance Auto Parts website and I see thay have alot of FlowMaster mufflers. How do I know which one to get? I see they have a 2-1/2" I.D. But then on the site it said they may not fit mt car. I really like the Cherry Bomb mufflers.

I bought a Dynomax exhaust system from Modernperformance.com, it was something like 300. I recommend you get 2.5" pipe w/ resignator, and SRT rear section. Thats what I have right now and I think my car sounds great.

I have had a srt exhaust on my sxt since  2005 and love it I would love to have a mopar borla but not putting anymore into her saving for a new ride . I have a nice stainless steel glasspack but a cherrybomb will do you nicely . Since thats what everyone has but me . I like to go different anyways. srt exhaust + glasspack= decent lookin and decent price.

I 2nd this exhaust, got the exact same one on mine and it sounds good. Slight rumble at idle and a nice deep tone under throttle, yet not too loud at highway cruising speeds.
