will 33 * 12.5 fit with a 3 inch body lift on a 2000 dakota

Maybe. I have 32x11.50 on a 3" body lift on my '97 2WD. But they're all coming off soon...going back to stock. I can tell you the 11.50s rub pretty hard on the frame when steering...and it doesn't have to be at full steering lock either...just close. The 12.50s will really rub the frame.

The other dakota style rims will not rub as much, or at all because they have an offset the ones I have and so does jason, are the ones that don't have an offset I think. The alloy ones do. Not sure which ones you have but most came with those.

Ours are alloy wheels, Varsis. I did just buy some of the OE 15x8 wheels, and it appears that the backspacing is similar to the 15x7 wheels. Even still, that puts more tire away from the frame than the 15x7 wheels do. I don't think they used our 15x7 wheels past about 1998 or 1999.

there was a guy on here who fit 33's on i think he only had cranked t-bars maybe blocks in the back i forget but im pretty sure they were a metric size that measured to 33 tall and they were only like 10-11 wide.

I hope to get some nice new rims soon... I need to look up some...
