I traded off my Dak yesterday on an 04 Tundra. I just got tired of the brake, wheel bearing and suspension issues plus I needed more room for passengers. Since I don't have the truck any more my airraid intake, tonneu cover and front reciever hitch are for sale. Let me know if your interested.

I've had to replace the wheel bearings once already and they're making noise again. Two sets of bearings in 37K seems exessive to me makes me nervous about future longevity.

i really like the body style of the newer tundra, but i have yet to encounter any major problems with my dak. only thing is the bouncy frt end. same brakes, tires and what not. i just keep building it better and stronger. maybe dodge should come and look at my truck and take notes. what possesed you to get a tundra and not another dodge? dont tell me the tundra is a 6 cyl.

I have 41K on mine and have only had the cold tranny problem that was fixed with new filters.

There is always one that gets through...

I got the 4.7 Tundra. I just was not impressed at all with the durability of my Dakota and didn't see it holding up well in the long run. I didn't get another dodge partialy because the principle of the thing, i don't want to buy another vehicle from a manufacturer I feel did a poor job on my current vehicle and also because the tundra better fits what i was looking for, more ground clearance, better approach departure angles and a little smaller than a ram.

I'm going back and forth with Dodge right now on buying back this lemon. I told them straight up I'm buying a new truck this summer.I also saidI'd like it to be a Dodge again, but if you guys are going to fumble this problem that is still unsolved, then I will be getting a GMC. They never "got back to me" so apparently they don't care.

Looks like I'm getting a GMC this summer. lol

Don't get the Canyon...those things are little pieces of crap...I had nothing but trouble with my old one...I traded up to a Dak to get something reliable.

Yeah parents had a Colorado, basically aCanyon, and they ended up getting rid of it after not even a year. There were issues with the door latches, rattles, and stuff. They got fed up with it, and then the dealer they bought it through told em it looked like they were gonna have to live with it cause there wasn't a fix. Needless to say theynow have a Pt Cruiser.

I gotta agree with the opinions above about the Canyon/Colorado. I've known several people who have been very unhappy with theirs. GM really screwed up with that 5 cyl they put in now. I do like the full size trucks but with the gas prices.... ouch! I'm glad we are having better luck with our Dakota than you guys have had with yours.

Good luck with your new wheels!

I work for GMC, and I agree with you 100% :DThe canyon is probably the worst quality truck one could buy...

I was thinking along the lines of a gmc denali pickup. 400 horse, very little issues...

Those Denali's are crazy nice but they cost an arm and a leg. I wouldn't complain if someone gave me one though:D

One of those Denalis sure would be a sweet ride if you could afford the gas. Any of the new Sierras are pretty nice. I wouldn't hesitate if someone gave me one....or any GMC that's not a Canyon for that matter.
