So I'm tired of roping out at 110. Is the only way to adjust the gov. To put a chip in.

no idea. i'd like to know as well...but i don't think i've even hit 110 in my truck. i didn't even know there was a chip to change the gov.

also, fyi, you could edit your posts...just to avoid makig another post saying, "oops, i meant this"...

umm, i dont think your truck is capted. B/c if u have a auto it's only a 5 speed i belive. i have a manual 6 speed and i got mine to 120

On your truck you can surpass the governor by turning the key forward as if you were gonna start it again while driving.The starter wont crank but your dash will go out.Not really smart driving over 100 with one hand on your steering wheel and the other on your key.A programmer or chip will be your safest bet.

maybe...i should be fine. i've gone ~90mp, and my rpms are just over 3000...so, maybe...

Yeah I've hit about 95 in mine so far...I still have to see what the new headers will do...in terms of improvements..

so i figured out a way to get it taken care of i found a guy that for 100 bucks can buy a vin code and change the parammater settings on my ecm or take them out compleatly so its all motor and tranny.. YES!!
