yeah, but the '08 Avenger R/T is very nice and better on MPGs.  And if he is looking to save some coin in this recession, then that is the way to go.

ok, possible new plan. either get rid of the truck and get the avenger, or keep the truck and get a motorcycle... the more i drive my dak the more i realize i don't know if i could part with it.

Nah I understand going for better gas mileage, not a bad idea at least your sticking with Dodge.  Bah, sorry I don't have any need for a first year production.

nice.

I am looking for a little "beater" car for MPG's...   Why get rid of a good truck for a tiny car?   how would you ever get a full sheet of MDF home?

i bought a civic to drive around... 01 ex fully loaded 4 door. with every option and 90k miles for 3,500 not too bad... I'm gonna drive the hell out of it, and keep the truck in the garrage. Use it for camping/ hunting/ hauling. you cant beat getting 40mpg. Even tho its not anything like driving my Dakota.

You know what bolt? I better never ever see you on the highway in front of me...  Do a little bump drafting on you like the old people in the Impala.

Nah j/k thats actually the last thing on earth I would even possibly want to do.  I think I might be trying to pay my truck down as much as possible so I can sell it and get a car.  I really need something right now for MPGs and liability insurance.  I think I will drive a car until I am around 25 when my insurance goes somewhat back to normal then I will look at the Dakota that I want instead of some cheapie like I have now.

Anyone wanna take over payments on mine? :) Only $299.00 a month and it will have a brand new bumper cover, bumper bar, radiator, radiator shroud, radiator fan, radiator mounts, power-steering pully, drive-belt, passenger side fender, passenger side headlight assembly, and a brand new hood!

Dude... are you serious? $299 a month? how much was your truck/how many miles when you got it? no offense, but i think you got boned. i got mine with under 17k on it and am paying $268 a month for 5 years

I bought mine brand new in February of 2007 with no miles on it.  It was $4k under msrp at the time. Mine is also a year newer than yours.
