2000 missing Durango - 5/2/2008 3:16:21 PM    00DD   Posts: 6 Joined: 9/18/2006 Status: offline i have a 2000 5.9L Durango with about 150,000 miles. I have been getting a code from time to time that is Missing Cylinder #4. The first time I replaced the plugs and wires and it went away for about 10,000 miles. The light came on again, I checked the plug, it was cracked so I replaced it and the CEL went out again and stayed for another 10,000 miles or so. Well, the light came back on, the plug seemed fine but I replaced it anyway. This time the code did not go away. It is always Cylinder #4. Any ideas?.....thanks for the help. Post #: 1

Wires should be OEM from the dealer or MSD 8.5mm only. I bet you cracked it by accident.
