The additive is for the limited slip rear ends. Yes the 2wd came with the limited slip also, i have it in my dakota.

Yeah, the limited slip in mine is the same way. I think that any diff that uses clutches needs the friction modifier. Stuff also works good for torque converter shudder too.

cool thanks for the input. another question.. how often do you guys change your diff fluid? im pretty sure when we changed mine it hadn't been done since factory which was suprising but ive heard with our rear ends people with change every like 20k to avoid the noise once the additive breaks down.
