Default Intake manifold

Well...if you didn't know I plan on turbo'in the car spring time or mid summer I hope. My question is which intake manifold should I get? I've heard the stock one will crack from increased heat, being that its plastic. Basically the two options that I see for manifolds is the one off the Neon R/T or an Indy Intake manifold. I've heard that you have to do some moddin to get the indy to work, not to mention its pretty pricey. So if you have any idea, help me out here.

I have the INDY and after all the work I did to get it to fit, I thought it wasn't worth the money. If I had it to do all over again, I would get a fast fabrications unit. Or find an aluminum one that will fit, and have it Extrune honed.

Isn't fast fabs no more now? I know the R/T manifold will fit just fine.

Dave,

You can use the plastic intake manifold for turbo up to about 10psi before you run into problems.

REally? I've heard they crack. I might just get the one off the R/T just to save replacement later on down the road.

Do you know of any other options for me Nick? I have heard the indy isn't worth it from tons of people. What else is there really besides the stock one off the R/T?

Thats about it. The plastic manifold or the Indy which IMO isn't worth it. You can also have a short runner box style intake manifold made.
