new headlight bulb help? - 4/30/2008 2:56:15 PM    aed208 Posts: 5 Joined: 4/30/2008 Status: offline Can someone please tell me the easiest way to install new lightbulbs in my dakota? I just bought new halogens and i wana put them in but i cant figure out how to get the old ones out? RE: new headlight bulb help? - 4/30/2008 8:46:33 PM    00DakR/T Posts: 197 Joined: 12/4/2007 Status: offline If you look between the turn signal piece and the headlight piece there is one little star bolt. I think its a t15. Anyway, if you take that bolt out the turn signal piece will swing out of the headlight assembly and you can get to the 4 bolts that hold the headlight in. RE: new headlight bulb help? - 5/1/2008 4:44:34 AM    mplue   Posts: 43 Joined: 4/4/2007 Status: offline I've replaced my headlight bulbs and didn't have to take the headlights out.  Seemed like I just disconnected the connector and give the bulb a 1/4 turn and it came out of the headlight assembly.  Not sure if that is the proper way, but it worked for me.
