ok i've only had my neon about a month but i've beat a toyota yaris(new),a bike(old),a cavilier,a civic(old),and a sunfire.has any neons raced anywhere and who have you beat

lolled at prius.. **** who ****ing races those hahaha.. oh man good ****. i got mine yesturday.. have yet to do anything

at the time, i was running: (motor wise;))
fully built block, JE pistons, eagle rods, polished/balanced cranshaft, clevite77 rod and main bearings, bored .020 over, crane #14 cams, crane valve springs, BC titanium valve spring retainers, ported head, ported intake, 2.5" exhaust pipe, srt4 cat. converter, srt4 rear section, srt4 turbo, AGP wastegate, mopar blow off valve, 2.5" intercooler pipe, srt4 intercooler, begi fuel pressure regulator, 1/4" fuel return line, (2) walboro 255lph fuel pumps, accel 30# fuel injectors, home made cold air intake, ARP head studs, megan racing UDP, removed A/C, removed evap system, removed EGR valve, removed cruise control, and a few other things (suspension is a whole different story):D

Well I race now and than and I win most of the time yesterday on the interstate I saw this kid in a 99 teggy coming behind me and I let him catch up to me in the far right lane and I was in the fast lane so I was going 100 at the time and zoomed right past him in the middle lane going 130 1st time ever . After that I decided not to waste my ride on racing idiots just ignoring them is the best thing to do and not taken the chance on killing me or anyone else or getting caught for racing.

^^ 130?? i thought ur car was stock? that is to fast for me anyway, i only want to go as fast as i can get to in a quarter mile, that is fast enough.... that is where the real numbers r

She has some bolt ons but thats it. Its all the driver in my op and I drive fast too fast that my son andmy husband and my best friend they all say for me too slow it down and that Im going to get caught .130 is too fast for me in my sxt now in my acrs Ive done way faster than that . My next turbo ride either a scion tc or caliber srt4 Ill have to slow it down.

My best beats;

'94 Ranger single-cab with a mild 302 under the hood (out-shifted him)
'99 Mustang V6 (outshifted, and to add insult the 'stang had a 97 mph speed limiter so bye-bye 'stang in the rear view)
95% of Civics
90% of Focuses (or "Focii")
2003 V8 Dodge Dakota... not sure what happened to that one.

One car to watch for that can easily beat most NA Neons, especially with bolt-ons, is the 2004 Focus with the 2.3-liter Duratec I4... watch out for those things (Also known as the "PZEV" Partial -Zero-Emissions-Vehicle). They look normal, but all you gotta do with those is replace the factory air filter with a piped K&N, and replace the manifold-catalytic converter (same thing on those motors) with a cheap header, and those cars jump up to an easy 170 hp / 170 ft/lb tq no problem, no other mods.

A friend of mine had one with a 5-spd, and pulled away from me easy all day long.

My Drag strip wins are just against an '89 S10 and a '69 Bug :-P I also raced a Mazda Speed6 but it was pretty fixed up so I didn't stand a chance.
I've got a ton of street wins (and losses :-P)

Never lost to a Civic or a Cav
Have beaten an Altima, a couple Camries, Mazda 6, V6 Mustang, sentras, and for sure others that I don't care to remember at the moment

One time I had a crazy 3-way race between myself (duh), an '05 (I think) Stratus, and an '03 Ram 1500. We all 3 stayed neck and neck the entire race. I just thought it was cool because we were all Dodge cars and it went up in order from my I4 to a V6 to a V8. Dunno how sweet that really is but I got excited :-) haha.

And an Evo 8, haha. I didn't expect to win, I was just messing around with my friend.

I have a 2004 Dodge Neon Sxt with a K & N filter. Took off the air box and added NGK plugs. everything else stock.

K & N filters are really nice but if you want a
fast neon thats all you have to do to it to make

80,000 miles on my car, and 79,950 have been with the K&N in it. Just remember to clean it every 20,000 or less, the re-charger kit is like $10 and believe me, it makes your filter just like new. I was really surprised by how well the cleaner and oil worked.
