Want to Lift truck - 4/24/2008 5:03:21 PM    wworks   Posts: 1 Joined: 4/24/2008 Status: offline Hi. I have a 2000 Dakota club clab with the V6 and manual 5 speed. I want to put a body lift on it and get bigger tires.  I saw another dakota today that apparently had a 3 inch body lift and 33 inch tires.  has anyone else done this?  also what else would i have to modify or watch for when lifting, such as the shifter or any wires?  thanks a lot. I really suggest doing some more research before lifting and adding bigger tires. My v6 came this way used, but I can tell it is very sluggish and the stick is sort of out of whack from being jacked up so high, whoever did it probably didnt do it right. I love how it looks, but these v6s just arent strong enough for a lifted truck with 31's. Just my .02 (in reply to strangemachine) Post #: 4
