It means you won't get fuel... Because you won't be able to synchronize you cam and crank. 00DakR/T 04-22-2008, 11:16 PM Sounds like a dead or dying cam sensor. No big deal to change for themost part MTN13 04-23-2008, 12:29 AM not sure what engine you got but i took 10 mins to change the sensor. it took me longer to find it then to change it. pumpkinheaver 04-23-2008, 05:23 PM Thanks for the replies folks. I have the 3.9L engine. 00DakR/T 04-23-2008, 07:20 PM With a 3.9 its under the distributor cap. Looks more like a pick-up coil than a cam sensor, but... pumpkinheaver 04-26-2008, 11:35 AM But.....what? 00DakR/T 04-29-2008, 09:26 PM its a cam sensor :) varsis 04-29-2008, 11:13 PM Heh, cam sensors are easy the crank ones are the pain... pumpkinheaver 05-02-2008, 04:36 PM Does the cam sensorhave a different name? I was gonna order one but I can't seem to find it on the autozone or o'riley's website under that name. varsis 05-02-2008, 09:32 PM ORIGINAL: pumpkinheaver Does the cam sensorÂ*have a different name?Â* I was gonna order one but I can't seem to find it on the autozone or o'riley's website under that name. Might be distributor position sensor maybe? They are pretty much the same... Id try cleaning it and see what happens... pumpkinheaver 05-03-2008, 09:47 PM Anybody got a pic so I know what I'm looking at? This is my first Dodge so I don't know a whole lot about them. varsis 05-03-2008, 09:58 PM This is assuming you have a 3.9,5.2 or 5.9 Chris local://upfiles/46256/16FCA0F93EB94855B11776CFDE305269.jpg local://upfiles/46256/B9F533C4341C4683AEB91348CB0C98ED.jpg local://upfiles/46256/7B11096D1F7F4AA687CF0B985E03E129.jpg pumpkinheaver 05-04-2008, 10:55 AM Thanks, your the man!!!!!
