How to clean door panels - 4/22/2008 6:36:02 AM    sax_man424   Posts: 6 Joined: 6/20/2004 Status: offline I recently purchased a used 2007 Dodge Charger SXT AWD (I traded a 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee because of the rising fuel prices) and this morning I noticed there was what appeared to be dried (florescent) paint on the rear passenger door and I was wondering what would be the best way to clean it off. I have access to “PDI Sani-Cloth Plus” wipes which will basically remove anything it comes in contact with but I’m afraid of damaging the finish on the door panel or do you think I should have the dealer attempt to remove it. I would start with ordinary dish soap & towel and work your way to harsher detergents if that doesn’t work. If nothing else test the "PDI Sani-Cloth Plus" on an area that least visible and proceed from there. (in reply to sax_man424) Post #: 2

Once I get the car back if they were un-successful I will try either the soap and water or the WD40. Wanted to say thank you for your advice. (in reply to 74scamp) Post #: 4
