humming noise - 4/19/2008 11:45:10 AM    merc2k   Posts: 3 Joined: 2/17/2008 Status: offline I have a '99 durango slt that has a loud hum or rubbing noise in the front passenger side.  It occurs from about 5mph-25mph and then stops.  It also stops when the brakes are applied.  Has anybody heard of this?  any help? Sometimes, the brakes on my 2001 make a little noise at certain speed ranges, but then stops once the brakes are engaged. It could be a warped rotor touching the pad.
