Hello everyone,
I am new to the site and was wondering if there is any way to make the windows on a 07 Dakota go up automatically like on other cars.

You mean something on the order of the one push down feature only in the upwards direction?

Never have heard of upwards...hmmm, interesting. I am sure it could be done, but isnt that alittle unsafe?

No I don’t think so every car I have seen that has this feature has a safety on it to when it senses to much pressure it rolls the window back down.

well,  you could make your own,  but it would probably get pricey.    you would need to find the switches and relays off one of the cars that do it,  then wire it up to make it work with your truck.

you  could make a relay pack to do it without the safty switch,  but I am not thinking thats a good idea.

Scroll down and look at the window control module.  I believe you need a Viper alarm for that to work though as it is an add-on module.  I'm sure other companies make things like that.

Never heard of a one-touch up feature for windows.  Personally I think I would rather not have it.

I have the one touch up feature on my Mercedes and Infiniti and really miss it on my other cars. Once you have it you love it.

Not trying to be a smart ass or anything but why are you driving around in winter with your windows down?

He gets all worked up over thinking about how much you and your magenta dakota look and talk femininly... Makes him break out in a sweat

No worries! Since I live in Oregon it doesn't take much sunshine to want to roll down the windows down. I am getting lazy in my old age and would like to just hit the button once and roll it up or down.

My wife's car has windows (front only) that go up and down with one touch automatic.
