Ok, I sent this to the regular forum. No response yet. Maybe this is a tech question.

I own a 2005 Magnum SXT with a tired 3.5 (98000 miles). I just bought an 05 Magnum RT parts car. The RT was stolen and went into a canal. I know at this point that I will need to tear the 5.7 down, clean it, and reassemble. The car was not running when it went swimming. But....

I need to know if the computers are automatically toast? Can they be dried and salvaged?

I have been told that the Trans & Dif are sealed units and should not have been affected. Is this true?

Can someone tell me specifically where the ECU & TCU are actually located? My DC shop manual is pretty vague.

Are the wiring harnesses the same between the SXT & RT?

   For now that's it. Thanks.

Jon
