Just finally put the tails on my truck.  Got them for Christmas from my brother...
They required "adjustment."
The plates they put on for you to put your sockets in are not facing the right way.  The way they came, you can't fit the socket directly into the housing.
My boyfriend and I did some creative slicing and dicing with the sockets and made them fit, but I was aggravated that we had to do anything to them to make them fit...
Anyways they are on, and they work.

Nice lookin Dak, but the clears don't really look that much different than the originals. Not knockin them, but with all the trouble they seem to be to install they oughta look a heckuva lot better. But seriously, that is a nice lookin truck.

Looks good with the red trim.  I'm not too fond of them otherwise.

I like those tails.    and I have seen acouple of the smoked version.  they look really good.  but good luck finding a set.  the last set I seen on ebay was over a year ago.

and I would just VHT nightshade the stockers and paint the out side edge.

I have loved to look at my truck since the day I saw her on the lot, and I still love to stare....
Overall, I liked the look of the OE, so I didn't want to get something insanely different, just something to go with my white truck.
I'm going to get the paint cleaned up this summer by a friend.  That is my only real bad spot though, so I feel I'm pretty lucky.  All I have to do is the tailgate and corners... Then I can get to the other fun stuff on my list!

They look pretty good. I bought a set also and I think with the clear corner and turn signals on the front they look good. They are the only ones you can match to the front of the truck with clear lenses. Yeah maybe they don't look much different than the originals but neither do the clear turn signals everybody puts on the front. They are clear and look different none the less. the gen 2's have some neat ones available to them. Here are a few pics of my "Rear End" lol!
