Default Did you ever notice the slight similarities?

Ive had a few people mistake my K for a small Mercedes I parked next to one once and could see why.

To bad they drop the e-class k- car huh. That would really confuse people.

In Russia we have many russian cars similar to there european prototypes. Especialy our govern's car Tschaika (ZIL) that was copyofclassic american full-size cars.

As you see, there is nothing original about our cars, if not talking that they are all hand-made.

Ive had the first one done for about 3 months now, the second one is in the rough draft phase.

I cant remember what model ME/BE the Aries looks a little like, but I think what makes it look similar is the grille, headlights, and turn signals that wrap around the fenders.

My friend drives a 190E, and besides being porkier, it's a very close match to my 87 aries. both are white. i actually like my interior better, it feels kinda stuffy in her car.

I still cant find a clear enough pic of a 190 for a side by comparison, I just think its funny that a Chrysler product and a Mercedes product could look similar 10 years before the companies merged.
Hmmm maybe they were trying to tell us something then

That one looks like it was influenced by the late 80s Mercury Grand Marquis
