I got a engine light on and a code #0301 #1 Misfire.Does anyone know what this means.Is it bad spark plug or wire?Any help thanks in advance.Wife needs car for work tonight.

Swap some plug wires and see if the code moves to a different cylinder.
Then swap 2 plugs, maybe cracked insulator on the plug.
It might be worth a try.

plugs may just be old or dirty..  Pull the plug and check..  if its chalky, greasy, or covered in carbon it should be replaced..

also do what Kevin said and check if its the wire, the wire may be the reason the plug failed (if you have a crappy plug).

Thanks for the replys i'm going to get some new plugs this week and change them.I don't know when they were replaced last so its time for new ones.The price of gas is a killer.Bill

sorry I don't know a part number from them, but you should be able to get them at Part source, Napa etc.. ask the counter help to look up your engine..  make sure you tell them you want Champion Truck Plugs..  don't let them convince you into platinums etc...
