Well your not going nuts...and btw welcome to the forum. But yeah Actually that happened to me today, at one of those "hard stop" lights like you encountered. Its happened ot me alot. But I dont know why, the other guys in here can tell you. I always guessed since they're stock brakes, they'll grind the rotors, and then those jolts come in, still never figured out what the "jolts" where but yeah its happened to me too, but only at those "come to a dead stop lights, get a ticket or an accident situations"

I think the problem is that the stock brakes on these trucks suck. My 06 has been babied and driven nothing but highway with rare hard stops made and my brakes are already frequently squeeling. I wish Dodge would just put some decent brakes on stock, and four wheel discs at that instead of drums.
