DAkota vs Suburu - 4/13/2008 12:53:48 PM    KillClutch   Posts: 13 Joined: 4/1/2008 Status: offline Ok so I have a 1/4 drag race comming up, my dakota vs a low 12's suburu legacy AWD with LOTS of mods with old tranny, he now has a race tranny an hasnt ran it yet. We are racing for 1000. I have plety of money to put in my truck for I am in iraq right now and come back next month to the states. I now have on my truck the following, vortech supercharger, powertracx rear diff, shift kit, 2200 stall, headers, hi perf cats, flowmaster 40's. Now i want to put on my truck heads, cam, rockers, new comp, wider tires, traction bars an some gearin like 4.10. I wanted to ask you guys what have you done that works an will make my truck quick, i want to keep the 5.2 in ,an not motor swap it. So any info or tips would be awsome. Post #: 1

I remember someone saying to only have half a tank of gas, and all the weight in the truck that you don't need take it out and put it back in when your done.
