New to the forums and didnt see anything on this topic, probably wrong, but my question is whats the deal with the wideband o2 sensor? Is it necessary? And where would i go to buy one? One last thing, im thinking about geting the MPx dual exhaust, http://www.modernperformance.com/product_info.php?cPath=174_187&products_id=1248, what all would i need besides this setup to completely redo my exhaust and to do it right.

You will need one if you start to play with Wastegates and boost controllers to make sure that your not going lean and blow your engine up. If you just plan on going with a stage kit and that is it then you dont need one or just doing minor mod. it is always a good thing to have tho. You can get them all over i am an AEM one that i actually picked up used for 180 which is pretty good. I have that exhaust from MPx and it is a good priced and quality system. You may also want to get get a 3 in 02 housing and if you really want to open everything up get your exhaust manifold ported and polished.

Jsut recently had my turbo upgraded D-tech wideband and when I  tried starting my car at workand it woulnd't start it but started smoking inside of my car so I'm sitting there like what in the hell is going on never had any problems. So I took everthing apart underneath my steering coloum an one of my wires wad burned so I unpluged it and the car started right up but my wideband was off that's how i figured that damn wire had to been hooked to my wideband which also looked like speaker wire.
