hey guys, I've put a new coil in my dakota which helped the sputtering a little bit.

I have a new coolant temp sensor which I haven't put in yet, and I'm starting to think it won't help.

i've noticed the past few days that it's related to humidity. When it's really moist out it sputters.

suggestions?

that is strange, probably a sensor, is your CEL on? could be the map sensor... but dont go out and by one on that, just throwing it out there.

check your distributor for cracks or condensation if it only happens on moist mornings

well poo, not sure how to check the map sensor, but MAP stands for manifold absolute pressure, mabey the humidity could screw with it... that my 2 cents.

don't forget to use contact gel for the contact points on your coil and cap.  they sell it for batteries and i used the same stuff.  can prevent build up too
