The PCM might work but it would have to be flashed with the VIN of the new rig by the dealer. There would be no performance incentives.

You can send yours to B&G or another company and they will send you yours back overnight. This would wake up your 4.7L. Other than that K&N, ram air, and exhaust would go together great with the PCM upgrade.

UDI:

I believe the HO 4.7 had higher compression as well as different cams and intake. Not to say you could not make the swap, but several folks have found that performance increases for the 4.7 come in small steps, and usually with a pretty big chunk of change.

I think you will find that the Jeep PCM would not be easily compatible with our Durangos due to various parameters that are likely quite different between the two.

Sure does not hurt to ask and research though.

Just go buy a superchips programmer for your 4.7. Easiest and painlessly way to maximize the pcm settings for your 4.7. I doubt if you will gain any better performance using a pcm from a HO 4.7. You might end up losing power as your 4.7 is not a HO engine.
