Ya, So I bought a new trailer finally. It is a 26’ side power slide 2004 Salem! Well the weight is 5,600 dry with a 661 tongue weight. It came from California so it has duel 5,000 lbs. axels. In other words it has the ability to handle up to 10,000 lbs. The D only goes to 7,300 lbs so I’ll need to be careful. I got the EQ 4 point hitch. The thing is in flawless condition. It was used about 6 or 8 times and comes with everything. You say it and I’m sure it has it. So I measured the D after hooking it up and I dropped 3” and so now I need to find some sort of overload. I’ve looked at a few but haven’t decided on one as of yet. I think I’m going to look more closely at the air bag setup. The fresh water tank is toward the front and is 46 gal. Ya, even more weight on the tongue. Anyway I’ll post pic’s soon.

Sweeet! If you decide to roadtrip it up to Canada, send me a msg, I'll hook you up with a garden hose to re-fill that massive tank .. and if you feel the need to drop it off for a lil while, I'll take good care of it for you

Hydra, what are you carrying around with that massive thing? I don't have a trailer...don't need one b/c my inlaws have a few. They sold their wrecker last week so I suggested we use the car hauler trailer w/my Durango to move it to the mechanics (hubby refuses to tear down another after what he went through with the D), but hubby's a little worried about pulling that kind of load (it's a suburban) with my Durango. IDK why b/c we pulled a race truck from South Alabama to Central Alabama with my Explorer and had no problems and that poor thing didn't have the v8 my d has nor did it have the towing package my d has. Anyway, congrats on your new trailer. As long as I have a way to pull the quads I'm happy. Ang :)
