Rear end swap, will rims fit? - 4/10/2008 5:35:15 PM    mini Posts: 81 Joined: 1/13/2008 Status: offline Getting tired of the one wheel peels, so I found a ford 9inch that'll fit and I was wondering if regular dakota bolt pattern would work with it? have to get a stronger rear end if I want to start launching with it. The 8.25 can take a sh*t load of abuse. I run that thing hard with a locker and a high horsepower engine with rock crawling to drag strip to anything you can think of absolutly no problems. It would be hard to brake someithing in that (with it correctly set up that is!) There are locker options along with ratios up to 4.54 or higher avilble. In one of the 4x4 mags. said its compairable to the dana 44. I might be wrong but I belive there might be an selectable locker out there too.
