91 Stealth R/T ABS light

My ABS light went on last fall, and the shop where my buddy works couldn't get into the data enough to see the cause. I thought taking the battery out and storing it for the winter may clear it, but it came on right away this spring. The local Dodge dealer wants $70 just to diagnose. Is there an easy cheaper way to find out why the light came on?? The brakes still work, but do not have the ABS working. Thanks!

My light actually will actually stay on every once in a while. I fix the problem by shutting the car off and turning it back on. On page 20 in the manual it talks about the occurance as if all stealths do it.

Mine had the same problem last year, just on and off.. i would turn the car off then back on and sometimes it would go away, i tinkered with the wires going to the brakes and it never came on again .... lol,
