I've seen other threads on bad clock springs, but they definately don't seem to match. The only controls on my steering wheel are for cruise. The on/off button operates the on/off light on the cluster with no problem. But the set switch does not engage the cruise control and neither does pushing and holding the ACC switch. No problems with the horn, airbags, steering, ... 1999, 5.2L, 4X2. Dean WHisnant

Actually, through browsong one-by-one through other posts regaring my (I thought) unreleated A/C problem I found the problem was actually with this vacuum line having come loose. Problem solved! Cost = $0. Thumbnail Image
