I have a V8 is there any way around the replacement of lower radiator hose and fan. Crazy4x4RT 04-08-2008, 07:40 PM the lower hose will bend enough. simple fan shrod brakets are easly to make gap gaurds cover the space in between the body and frame they are not needed front and back bumpers are easy to modify to move up fox 04-09-2008, 10:23 AM I think performancecenter.com dumped our suspension kit.... Crazy4x4RT 04-09-2008, 06:21 PM Ya I guess they did here is another http://www.rockymountainsusp.com/dodge_dak4WD.htm johndakota 05-08-2008, 07:11 PM i got the cheapest its $114 www.fatbobsgarage.com (http://www.fatbobsgarage.com) heres a pic its so easy to install i got 33s under my 95 sport with this kit http://www.fatbobsgarage.com/cart/images/products/k30028.jpg Cutlass84 05-09-2008, 04:59 PM Wow, I assume it was a 2wd sport since you used the spring spacers? I just bought that kit for my truck and wasn't sure if 31's would fit. Do your tires rub very badly, and do you have many miles on the truck?I have well over 200k so I'm not sure if the kit will have the same effect.. johndakota 05-09-2008, 06:53 PM i got 175000 they dont rub but if a hit a big enough rock my wheel will hit upperwell in my front1 gen dakota been know for it bouncyness well nothig is in bed but thats why im getting a double tube roll bars and spare tire carrier build to make up for this best thing tho is to get a helper springs to go around your shocks cause you coils might be worn. when do they rub when turns sharp or when hitting stuff? the best though for you if you suppensions worn it to take 95 ram leaf springs and mount them on as for coils try to get some longer or stiffer ones from a jeep cherokee or chevy 1500 Cutlass84 05-10-2008, 09:15 AM They may not be too bad off. I don't have any of this stuff installed yet, i just ordered the spacers and add a leaf kit (and a locker :D ) in the past couple days. Just trying to see what i may be getting into. Are you saying you got 33's to fit with only the 120 dollar lift kit? I was just hoping to put some31x10.50son my stock rims if possible. johndakota 05-11-2008, 04:59 AM pretty much i was gonna 450 istalled 3 inch lift but i found this see i believe you saw a pic on my building 1 gen prerunner thread Shibby927 05-11-2008, 05:28 AM Theres a guy that lives not too far from me in Ames selling a gen 1 dakota thats lifted to high hell.
